The name may have changed, but the enthusiasm is the same.
Runners and their supporters turned out Saturday, Jan. 11, for the Irvine Half Marathon and 5K — for years known as the Southern California Half Marathon — taking a route that traveled from Woodbridge Village to Mike Ward Community Park.
The 29th annual race supports Woodbridge High School Athletics and the Irvine Public Schools Foundation.
